Police have concerns for an elderly man missing from Mangere East

78 year old Sooitumui RAMONI was last seen by family members in his home address in Chaplin Street at about 9.00pm last evening. At around 1.00am they discovered him missing and police have been searching for him since then.

He is a male Polynesian around 158cm tall ( five foot three inches ), has black ( balding ) hair, is clean shaven, was wearing a light blue jumper, black track pants, black socks with no shoes, and should be wearing thick silver glasses.

He has an extremely limited short term memory span, so could appear confused when seen wandering around.
