Emergency services at scene of double fatality near Otorohanga

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision south east of Otorohanga that claimed the life of two people and left three people seriously injured.

Two helicopters were required to ferry the injured from the scene to Waikato Hospital following the crash which happened on Otewa Rd about 2.20pm.

The Waikato Serious Crash Unit is currently investigating the crash that involved a truck and an SUV.
