Media assistance helps Wellington Police locate 'Good Samaritan' in Miramar family violence incident

Police have located the 'Good Samaritan' who came to the aid of a woman involved in a family violence incident in Miramar in the early hours of Monday morning.

As a result of media coverage today, the 'Good Samaritan' has contacted Wellington Police this afternoon.

The victim was allegedly assaulted by her partner outside her Camperdown Road home around midnight Monday 8 November 2010, suffering serious bruising to her face. A man came to her assistance and Police were keen to speak to this 'Good Samaritan' to assist with their enquiries.

Police would like to thank media for their assistance on this incident, which has been much appreciated.
