Smales Farm Taharoto Road Takapuna

North Shore police are investigating the armed robbery of An Armourguard security patrol.

Shortly after 5pm tonight police were told that a security patrol had been robbed outside the ASB bank Smales Farm Takapuna.

A male had presented a fiream and made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

The male was picked up by a second male in a silver Mazda Familiar hatchback. This vehicle was dumped within the smales business environ. The two males have then left in a Yellow Hatchback similar to a Mazda Atenza.

Police are seeking witnesses to the robbery or persons that saw either vehicles.
