Fatal Crash

Police are currently attending a fatal crash involving a truck and a car near Orari, State Highway One, Canterbury.
An occupant of the car has died at the scene.  The truck driver's condition has not been confirmed but does not appear to have serious injuries.

Detours are in place while a scene examination is completed.
Detours are in place at SH 1/Farm Rd and SH 1/Looker Rd.
