Dan Carter is just one kick away from a world record after the All Black's beat Ireland this morning 38-18 at Aviva Stadium in Ireland.

Man of the match Carter kicked 18 points, four penalties and three conversions,  but fell short of Johnny Wilkinson's 1178 point record when he missed a conversion on full time.

The game was a pinnacle for captain Richie McCaw and Mils Muliaina who appeared in their 93rd tests for the All Blacks, breaking the record set by All Black great Sean Fitzpatrick.

Kieran Read scored two of the All Black tries with Boric, and Whitelock keeping it in the forwards.

The game was also the 100th test win for Graham Henry, who has coached both Wales and the All Blacks.

The Irish have never beaten the All Blacks and are now 23 losses and 1 Draw against the world's best team.
