Wellington Police attend sudden death in Thorndon

Wellington Police have attended a sudden death in Thorndon this evening.

Just after 5pm, a 58 year old man died in his vehicle prior to exiting a carpark.

The man was a Police employee who worked as a guard at Government House.

His death is not believed to be suspicious and is being referred to the Coroner.

Police are not releasing the identity of the deceased until all next of kin have been advised.
