Fatal Crash Cambridge Waikato

At about 1210am on Monday the 6th of December a vehicle crashed into a bridge on SH1 Cambridge. The crash occurred approximately 200m north of the intersection of SH1 and Shakespeare St. There were no other vehicles involved.

There were two occupants in the vehicle. One has been killed as a result of the crash. The other occupant escaped with minor injuries and is being spoken to by police.

SH1 has been closed at the crash scene. Diversions through Cambridge are available for cars. Trucks will have to take an alternative route. SH27 is an option. The road will be closed for about two hours.
