South Korean tourist missing in Franz Josef

Franz Josef Police hold concerns for the wellbeing of a South Korean tourist, missing in Franz Josef.

Department of Conservation staff alerted Police to a rental vehicle in the Franz Josef glacier carpark that had not moved since approximately Thursday last week. The car is parked in the main glacier carpark with foot access to the Franz Josef Glacier Valley and numerous bush walks.

The missing man is Ergine CHO from Incheon, South Korea. Ergine is 31 years old and appears to be travelling alone. He has been in New Zealand for two weeks.
