HAMILTON

At about 2.30pm today, 22 December 2010, Police stopped a motor-vehicle on Darley Street Hamilton as a result of the manner of driving by the occupant.

Whilst speaking with the driver and making arrangements for the vehicle to be impounded a methamphetamine lab was located in the boot of the car.

Darley Street was closed for a short period of time whilst the vehicle was secured, and the driver and police officers underwent decontamination.

A 30 year old man will appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow to face charges relating to this find.
