Remuera - cordons have been lifted

All cordons have been lifted in Remuera after a specialist search team cleared the area.

Police were responding to a telephoned threat that an explosive device had been planted in a reasonably specific area.

An enquiry team will be following up leads described as promising in an attempt to identify the person who made the threat.
