Details of Road Crash Victims

Western Bay of Plenty Police have released the names of the two Tauranga men who died on Tuesday 11th January 2011 when their vehicles collided at about 9.20am on Oropi Road, Tauranga.

Christopher Frederick VICKERS aged 55 who was riding a motorcycle at the time and Robin Thomas FONG aged 68 who was driving a light both died at the scene.

Enquiries are continuing into the cause of the crash and Police ask that any person who may have seen the crash or the vehicles immediately prior to the crash to contact the Tauranga police.
