Wairarapa Police release name of female passenger who died in fatal crash

Wairarapa Police are now able to release the name of the female passenger who died in a fatal crash shortly before midnight in Masterton last night.

She was 23 year old Aimee Maree Wilson of Masterton.

A 20 year old male passenger and a 21 year old female passenger are both in hospital.

The 21 year-old male driver escaped without injury.

Enquiries are continuing into the crash, which occurred at 11:45pm after the car hit a power pole, near the intersection of State Highway 2 and Mikimiki Road, about 10 kilometres north of Masterton.
