Search on after possible plane crash - Bream Bay

At 12.17pm Police received a call from golfers at Waipu golf course who had seen a low-flying aircraft then heard a bang out to sea in Bream Bay towards Sail Rock.

No crash was seen however RCCNZ is now controlling a search of the area.

Police are supporting this search.
