18 year old in serious condition after being hit by bus

An 18 year old man is in a serious condition in Wellington Hospital after being hit by a bus in Kilbirnie yesterday

Sergeant Mark Moody of the Wellington City Strategic Traffic Unit (STU) says at about 11:15am, the pedestrian was hit by a bus on Coutts Street near the Tirangi Road intersection.

"We have spoken to a number of witnesses today, following the crash, but are keen to hear from anyone else who may have witnessed the incident, but haven't yet spoken to Police."
