Person missing Kaituna River update#2

Police SAR and Coastguard have been joined by the Police Dive Squad in searching for a 70 year old missing hunter at Paengaroa. The man disappeared while crossing the Kaituna River at about 5.30pm on Saturday 12 February 2011.

The focus of the search remains in the area the hunter went missing with a view to extending this to the Kaituna Cut where the river meets the sea.
