Wairarapa Police investigate another rural burglary
Wairarapa Police are seeking help from the public following another rural burglary at the weekend.
Detective Tracey Calder of the Wairarapa CIB says a burglary occurred at a rural address in Waihakeke Road, Carterton between the hours of 4pm on Saturday (12 February) and midday yesterday (Sunday 13 February).
"A large amount of property was stolen during this burglary and we're asking for the assistance of the public in finding who is responsible."
Detective Calder says among items stolen was a red coloured 2001 Holden HSV Clubsport. This vehicle has a very noisy engine and was possibly towed from the address.
Other items stolen included various tools, electrical equipment and household items, including an oven cooker, a bread maker, a hair straightener, and items of food.

"This burglary is similar to others that have occurred in the rural Wairarapa area over the past few months and it is once again a timely reminder to be vigilant not only with your own security, but to also be on the look out for any suspicious vehicles or people."
