Two arrests in Wairoa shooting investigation

Two people have been arrested and are due to appear in the Gisborne District Court today on charges following the shooting of a Mongrel Mob gang member in Wairoa at the weekend.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested in the Wairoa area today and have been jointly charged in relation to the shooting.

Wairoa police are not looking for anyone else in the investigation.
