Recent rain and flooding have cause significant damage to the track from Hahei to world famous tourist attraction Cathedral Cove.
Despite DOC closing the track many tourists continue to make the walk navigating significant slips.
There are three major slips on the track, two of which are on the final decent to Cathedral Cove.
Doc have also closed the Cove itself due to more rocks falling from the ceiling of the Cathedral.
