Earthquake death toll remains unchanged
The number of confirmed deaths as a result of the Christchurch earthquake remains unchanged at 148.
However, that number is expected to increase in the days ahead.

Disaster Victim Identification teams from Thailand and Israel have now joined the operation, making this a truly international effort. Again, Police are grateful for all assistance received.
Police met with family members again this afternoon.
And we are warning people to continue to be alert to those seeking to take advantage of this tragedy.
