Stabbing victims hospitalised

Two men in their early 20s are in Auckland Hospital yesterday evening after being stabbed during an altercation at UNITEC on Carrington Rd, Mt Albert at about 2.20pm today.

The men are thought to have had a dispute with a woman who ran off from them. They followed and encountered her and her associates in a carpark at Gate 4 of the tertiary institute’s complex, where Police understand they received their injuries.

Police are interviewing several witnesses to the incident. It’s believed the mens’ injuries are not critical. At least two vehicles are reported to have left the scene at speed shortly after the event.
