Police investigating Matthew Hall's murder asking public for sightings of a vehicle
Police investigating the murder of Johnsonville man Matthew Hall are looking for sightings of a vehicle which may have been in the area on the day his body was found.
The 35 year old died as a result of a ferocious attack whilst in his bed at home in Broderick Road, Johnsonville. His body was discovered around 6:15pm on Tuesday 15 February 2011.
Head of the investigation Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton says, "We have received information that a dark grey Nissan Primera vehicle may have been in the vicinity of 118 Broderick Road on the day Matthew Hall's body was discovered.
"We really need help from residents and those living near Broderick Road and let us know if they saw a vehicle fitting this description either on Tuesday 15 February."
Dave Thornton says Police need to know if they should rule the vehicle into the investigation or rule it out.
"As we've said since the beginning of this inquiry, it will be the public who help Police solve this horrendous crime and I urge anyone who may have seen this vehicle on Tuesday 15 February to contact us as soon as possible."
