Machete Gang Nabbed

Auckland Police have charged 4 people linked to the series of Machete Robberies over the weekend.

Two 17 year old males, a 16 year old male and a 16 year old female will appear in the Auckland Youth Court on Monday charged with numerous offences including aggravated robbery, assault with intent to rob, aggravated assault, trespass and drug charges.

The 4 were caught after committing their sixth robbery late on Sunday night.

The latest two robberies occurred in Orakei Road at 8.30pm and Sherbourne Road at 11pm where the group used the machete to rob 3 victims.
