Wellington Police seek help of public to identify body found in Houghton Bay

Wellington Police are seeking the assistance of the public to identify the body of a male found today at Houghton Bay, Wellington.

The body, believed to be that of a male aged in his 30's, was found by a member of the public at around 10:30am this morning.

The circumstances surrounding this death are not believed to be suspicious at this stage.

Police are yet to formally identify the body of the male, despite inquiries throughout the day and are urging members of the public to contact them with any information.
