Frasertown Wairoa District

Just after 6pm yesterday evening Police were advised of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle towing a horse float. This occurred on a rural road in the area of Frasertown in the Wairoa District.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 50 year old local male died at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated by the Serious Crash Unit and police from Wairoa.
