Life Flight Trust responds to a Medical Patient in Martinborough

At 6:30pm yesterday evening the Life Flight Trust responded to Martinborough in the Wairarapa to a 55yr old male from Whitby.

Life Flight responded with a Wellington Free Paramedic on board the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

The Patient had been found lay on his bed unconscious by neighbour .

The man was treated at the scene by the local Ambulance crew then transported to a nearby park where the Westpac Rescue helicopter was able to land.

The patient was flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is being further assessed and treated for his injuries.

The Life Flight Trust is a charity providing air rescue and air ambulance services. It operates the Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a national air ambulance service.
