Wellington Police looking for sightings of stolen vehicles

Wellington Police are looking for sightings of two vehicles stolen from the garage of a Hataitai house overnight.

Constable Richard Matthews says between midnight and 6am this morning, a 2006 silver Hyundai Sante Fe (registration number DJC445) and a 2004 silver Honda Jazz (registration number BSQ666) were taken from a garage on Waipapa Road, Hataitai.

"The owners of these vehicles were burgled on Monday 9 May and among items stolen were the car keys to their vehicles. We urgently want to hear from anyone who may have seen these vehicles in the Haitaitai area overnight or in the wider Wellington area today."
