Crash at intersection leaves one dead

At approximately 2.45pm this afternoon there was a fatal motor accident at the intersection of Whangaparaoa Road and Totara Road, Whangaparaoa.

A 51 year old female has died as a result of the accident. 3 other persons have been taken to North Shore Hospital with moderate injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit are investigating and diversions have been put in place. Eastbound traffic is being diverted at Brightside Road and Whangaparaoa Road.

Westbound traffic is being diverted at Stanmore Bay Road and Whangaparaoa Road.
