Concern for safety of missing Tauranga man

TAURANGA

Police are currently making enquiries to try an locate a 23 year old Tauranga man, Joshua BAYLIS, who was has been missing since the 1st of June 20011.

Concerned members of his family are providing the Tauranga Police with as much information as they can in order to try and find him.

They have said that he was last seen by his mother where she dropped him off at a lay-by between Maniatutu Road and Okere Road between Te Puke and Rotorua. This lay-by is only a short distance from Lake Rotoiti.

There have been no sightings off him since then and he has not made any contact with family members which is unusual. They have fears for his safety.

Joshua is described as fair skinned Maori man with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is thin build approximately 170 com tall. He was wearing a distinctive large checked grey and black jacket, black and white checked shorts and green Adidas shoes with 3 white stripes.

Police are very eager to hear from anyone who may have seen Joshua in this area or may have heard from him since he was reported missing.
