Two further people charged in connection to Billabong Surf Shop burglary in April

Police have charged a further two people in relation to the burglary of the Billabong Surf Shop in Otaki earlier this year.

On 25 April 2011, it is alleged approximately $10,000 worth of goods was stolen in the burglary.

A 23 year-old man was arrested last Wednesday 22 June 2011 in connection to the burglary and Police have today charged a 25 year old man and a 28 year old man as well. They will appear in the Wellington District Court tomorrow.

These three men also face charges in connection to a series of alleged offending in late May, including an arson attack on the Karori Police Base, commercial burglaries, car thefts and a ram raid.

A 41 year old Porirua man has been charged with receiving stolen goods in relation to the alleged crime spree and will appear in the Wellington District Court on Friday 1 July 2011.

A 51 year old woman and a 43 year old man are also before the Courts charged in relation to this alleged offending.
