Carterton man facing firearms charges following early morning search warrant

A Carterton man will appear in the Masterton District Court today, following the execution of a search warrant at a Carterton address this morning.
Senior Sergeant Carolyn Watson says Wairarapa Police were assisted by the Wellington District Armed Offenders Squad at 6am this morning.
"The 48 year old man was arrested at the address and is facing firearms charges. Further charges are likely."
