Wairarapa Police seek witnesses to weekend burglary
Wairarapa Police want to speak with members of the public who witnessed a burglary in Masterton at the weekend.
Acting Detective Sergeant Emma Foote of the Wairarapa CIB says a burglary occurred at Advanced Automotive in Chapel Street, Masterton around 9am on Saturday 9 July.
"We are aware that some customers entered Advanced Automotive while the offenders were there on Saturday morning. It's alleged the offenders pretended to be working in the shop and took money from some of those people. We are keen to locate these customers and speak with them further."
Emma Foote says Police also want to hear from anyone who saw a group of people, including at least two men, riding or pushing an orange and purple Buell motorcycle in the Masterton CBD area or the east side of Masterton since Saturday morning.
