Information Sought

Between 8.30 - 9.00 am on Tuesday 12 July 2011 in the area of Charles Street, Ashburton, a young boy was making his way from home to school.

The boy reported that an unknown male approached him on the street, having come from a nearby vehicle. As a result of this the boy has run away and gone to school where he reported the incident.

Police are interested in any white 4WD vehicles which may have been seen in the Charles Street area around 8.30 am - 9.00am.

The Police would also like to speak to members of the public who were in the Charles Street area at this time, and who may have witnessed this incident.
