Glen Eden, Auckland - Man Arrested and Charged

A 46 Year old male has been arrested and charged with assault after an incident in Glen Eden yesterday in which another man received head injuries.

The man is appearing in Waitakere District Court today.

The 49 year old victim was found unconscious on the driveway of an address in Great North Road. He was taken by ambulance to Auckland Hospital. His condition is described as stable.

Detectives and specialist staff are continuing their investigations into the assault. A forensic examination is being carried out at the address where the incident took place.

Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident.
