La Bella Italia is proud to present our Wellington on a Plate Event for this year – a spectacular blend of food and art with soprano Julia Booth and pianist Bruce Greenfield, and a special dinner menu
by chef Gabriele Cagnetta.

Wednesday 17th August, at the Little Theatre in Lower Hutt, soprano Julia Booth will perform classic Italian Opera music with pianist Bruce Greenfield.

On the very same stage, a 3-course dinner will be served for a selected group of people. The menu includes risotto with Taleggio cheese, pears and toasted walnuts; roasted pork belly stuffed with prunes, roasted potatoes and balsamic roasted pickling onions; and almond panna cotta with berries coulis.

It is a creation of Gabriele Cagnetta, executive chef of La Bella Italia in Petone.

We will also have a special lunch and
dinner menu for Wellington on a Plate, from 5 th to 21 st August. The menu is $35 per person and includes Island Bay sausages with porcini mushrooms on soft polenta, Zany Zeus ricotta mousse with vin santo and a glass of The Syren’s Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot.
