Diesel Spill

A vehicle crash has occurred on State Highway 25A in the Coromandel approximately half way between Kopu and Hikuai.

This is approximately one kilometre from the summit of the highway.

No persons have been injured however the crash has caused a large diesel spill across the highway and extreme caution is urged for motorists travelling past the crash site.

Road cleaning is being commenced but there will be diesel on the road for some time.
