Fatal crash in Pukekohe

Update 1137 hrs: Both occupants were women. The injured person also died meaning both occupants died.

Police and other emergency services are at the scene of a crash where a car has collided with a tree on the corner of Haris Rd and Edinburgh Rd in Pukekohe. The crash happened at 1040 am.

There were 2 occupants in the car, one died and the other was taken by ambulance in a serious condition.

The Serious Crash Unit are examining the scene.

The streets around the intersection are closed and diversions are in place.
