Police confirm death not suspicious

Christchurch police were called to the University of Canterbury campus in Ilam at approximately 8.30am today after the body of a 20-year old male student was found on the Level 5 roof of the Central Library.

The body was found by a contractor on the site. Police say the death is not considered suspicious and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
