Porirua Police are looking for help from the public to identify a man who robbed a Cannons Creek dairy yesterday, armed with a pistol.

Detective Constable Shane Carter of the Porirua CIB says the man pictured in the attached CCTV images went into Sievers Dairy, on the corner of Mungavin Ave and Sievers Grove, at around 9 o'clock yesterday morning, armed with a pistol and demanded money.

"The offender pointed the pistol at the attendant and was given a small amount of cash, before leaving the dairy. He was last seen running onto Sievers Grove."

Detective Constable Carter says Police need the assistance of the public to identify and locate this offender, who is aged between 20 and 30 years.

Anyone with any information should contact the Porirua Police on (04) 238 1400 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
