Wainuiomata Hill Road Open

Contrary to an email that has been circulating, the Wainuiomata Hill is open for traffic. This situation is being closely monitored by the Lower Hutt City Council. Motorists are however urged to take care when using the road and drive to the conditions, particularly in Wainuiomata itself where the roads are slippery and icy.
