Man dies after car leaves road

At approximately 00.03hrs a car lost control in Alfriston Road and has driven over an embankment.

The sole male occupant has died at the scene.

Enquiries are continuing to determine the cause of the crash.

The road is closed and expected to remain closed for a further hour.

Diversions are in place.
