Woman dead following Strathmore stabbing incident

A woman has died following a stabbing incident in Raukawa Street, Strathmore.

The woman died at the scene a short time ago.

Acting Wellington Area Commander Detective Inspector Steve Vaughan says Police were called to the address shortly after 11:30 this morning to reports of a female being stabbed.

"A male at the scene is being taken to Wellington Hospital in a serious condition."
