Fatal Crash - Woodville

At about 10.15am on Sunday the 4th September 2011 there has been a two vehicle crash at the corner of State Highway Two and Priest Road, about 2km south of Woodville.

It appears that one vehicle has exited Priest Road and been struck in the drivers door by a southbound vehicle.

The deceased was in the vehicle on Priest Road and was the only occupant.
The southbound vehicle had two occupants, neither of whom were injured in the crash.

At this stage it is not believed that speed was a factor in the crash. A number of enquiries into the circumstances are being carried out, including an investigation by the Serious Crash Unit.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
