AUCKLAND

Workers and pedestrians were lucky not to be hurt today when a concrete lifting bucket emptied onto the ground from nine stories up at a Hawkins construction site on Albert Street.

The Bucket's contents landed on a road next to the Hawkins construction site on Albert St next to the Whyndham towers oppisite the New Zealand Herald Building.

Several pedestrians and workers were hit by splattering concerete and The Holcim Conceret mixer which filled the bucket was covered in concrete, luckly no one was injured.
