Kapiti Police seeking 35 year old Leister Caldwell

Kapiti Police are looking for 35 year old Leister Brendon Caldwell who has a warrant for his arrest for recall to prison.

Officer in charge of Kapiti CIB Detective Sergeant Ian Martin says the warrant has been issued for an alleged breach of prison release conditions.

"Leister Caldwell is known to frequent both the Kapiti and Porirua areas. He has gang connections, is considered dangerous and should not be approached."

Caldwell is described as European, 170 centimetres tall, of medium to stocky build. The attached photo was taken in 2009 and Caldwell was last seen recently with a long ginger bushy beard and shoulder length hair.

"Anyone with any information as to this man's whereabouts is urged to contact their local Police station or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
