The Olympics of Auction names its finalists tonight.

Harcourts Auctioneer Andrew North is on his way to the top of the podium as he makes the
finals of the 2011 Australasian Auctioneer Championship at the Sofitel in Melbourne tonight.
From the auditorium where the judges just made the announcement, Harcourts new National
Auction Manager Robert Tulp and previous REINZ Auction Champs said Andrew was a
standout in the heats today.
“Andrew nailed his call today and was so calm and collected it was inevitable he would make
the finals.”
Mark Sumich, the only other auctioneer from this side of the Tasman also made the final
along with Adrian Butera (Vic), Michael Fenn (SA), Chris Powell (NSW).
The final will be held from 1pm Australian time tomorrow the 21 September.
