Missing Elderly Man

Lyttelton Police are currently searching the walking tracks between Lyttelton and Cass Bay for a 77 year old male who has failed to return after leaving his Cass Bay address on foot around 3 pm this afternoon.

The man is described as follows:
Male Caucasian – 77 year old
Blonde hair
Wearing a short sleeved blue vest over the top of a short sleeved green and blue checkered shift, and green trousers

The missing man answers to the name of “Fred”.

Police ask anyone who may have seen the man this afternoon to contact Christchurch Police on 3637400 (ask for Police Communications).
