Fatal Road Crash - Diversions in place

Police and Emergency Services are currently at the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident in Wellsford.

One person has been killed and two others are injured when two cars collided head-on.

The incident occurred at about 6.30pm this evening on State Highway 1 just north of Robertson Road, Wellsford.

State Highway 1 is currently closed with road diversions at Wayby Valley Road and Centennial Park Road.

The road is expected to reopen as soon as possible.
