Tongan training and autograph session – Tuesday 27 September

The Tongan rugby team will be hosting a public training session at the Hutt Recreation Ground in Lower Hutt on Tuesday 27 September from 10am to 12pm.

Come along for a close-up opportunity to get a taste of Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011) action, watch as the players are put through their paces and get their autographs afterwards.

Be in to win one of two Tongan RWC 2011 playing jerseys and have a go at some rugby skills sessions.

There will also be performances from the Taulangau Brass Band, St Joseph Tongan Catholic Community and Makatu'unga-He-'Ofa Tongan Community.

Hutt Recreation Ground (access via Woburn Road, Bellevue Road, Myrtle Street)

Parking:

Available around the streets surrounding the Hutt Recreation Ground. Also the Dowse and Civic carparks are available in Laings Road, Lower Hutt

Bus stops for routes 91 (airport flyer), 83 & 110 are at Westfield Queensgate only a short walk to the ground.

Bus stop for routes 83 & 130 are available on Woburn Road outside the ground.
