Wellington Police pleased with RWC fans

Police are again pleased with RWC fans who have enjoyed the Scotland versus Argentina match at Westpac Stadium this evening.

Wellington Police District RWC Operation Commander Inspector Simon Perry says there were very few issues at tonight's game, with the cooler weather failing to dampen the spirit of the large crowd.

"Again, we are very pleased with the crowd behaviour, with only five arrests and 11 evictions."

Inspector Perry says extra Police staff are working in and around the city this evening, as RWC fans enjoy what Wellington has to offer.
